Episode 33: Accepting Compliments

Accepting compliments is a skill. We avoid accepting them in multiple ways. From dismissing our efforts and criticizing ourselves, to changing the focus and seeking further validation, a compliment is one of the hardest things for us to accept.

We should shift our focus and learn to take a compliment for what it's worth. A compliment is verbal sunshine, so let's not be the reason why we turn it into a rain cloud.
